The P&C association
meets at 2 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in
the Staff Room located behind the School Administration Centre.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the P&C is conducted in late February
each year. Notice of the AGM is sent out via Facebook, School Newsletter and
School Newsflash. At this meeting all roles are vacated and the President,
Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. (See P&C Roles and Descriptions for
positions on the right hand side of this page)
Our P&C runs our School Tuckshop. We have a Tuckshop Convenor - Mrs
Stacey Doo who provides amazing lunchtime meals for students at awesome
prices for families. Our Tuckshop Menu can be downloaded on the hyperlink provided on the right hand side of this page.
The Pialba State School P&C Association plays crucial role in our
school community. Being a member of the Pialba P&C (either as a committee
member or a parent attending meetings) provides an opportunity for parents,
grandparents, carers and the community to contribute to school decision making as well as leading and supporting major fundraising projects that provide crucial and valuable resources that support the teaching and learning.
Each Year at the AGM a calendar of P&C activities and various fundraising projects is developed.
These P&C activities and fundraising projects include:
School Discos which are help each term in the School Hall
Year 6 Graduation Disco (Term 4)
Pie, Fudge and Lamington Drives
Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day Stalls (which our P and C has a partnership
with Hervey Bay High School Business students who setup, timetable
and run the stalls)
Movie Madness night on the Oval (Big Cinema Screen)
Partnership with Hervey Bay Rodders (Car show - Easter each year).
